Sculpture Bust Urns by UPD Urns
The Sculpture Bust Urn is a legacy product that will memorialize a family member for generations to come.
The quality of the likeness is striking because of factual representation of the person. Although the manipulation of the data to create a final product is completed by a 3D artist, the data is an accurate portrayal of the person.
The bust itself sits on the top of a black wooden cremation urn. It is not secured to the urn. The family can then inter the cremated remains and keep the bust as a lasting memorial.
Our unique Sculpture Bust Urn is sold as a pre-need product.
When a family or individual prepares for the scan, it’s just like getting ready for a family portrait. They will want to look their best, because this is how they’re going to be remembered.
A professional scan needs to be completed before this memorial can be created. It takes about 10 minutes to complete the highly specialized process which cannot be reproduced with pictures. After the scan is complete, our specially trained 3D artists will prepare the scan for printing. The data goes to our professional-grade 3D printer, which can take up to 12 hours to print the bust.
We do not advised offering this as an at-need product because of the quality of the sculpture. It will reflect the look of the person exactly and must be done while the person is alive.
The bust is available in several options:
Gypsum – this is our most affordable option. Gypsum is a soft sulfate mineral, and is the main constituent of many types of plaster. A fine-grained, white or lightly tinted variety of gypsum, called alabaster, has been used for sculpture by many cultures including the Ancient Egyptians, Ancient Romans, and also Medieval England.
Premium – several premium finishes are available. Our busts can be plated in precious metals like bronze, nickel, copper, and brass. These metal options maintain the accurate portray of the individual and add true value and beauty to our Sculpture Bust Urns.
